Today, Corset is helping women cut through the clutter and create interesting, “pulled together” looks. Our virtual personal styling service taps an endless closet of statement accessories and apparel to celebrate (and dress) the warriors, princesses and screen sirens in all of us.

A little about the woman behind Corset...

Carrie Leum
President and Founder, Corset, Inc.
“Because you never get a second chance to make a first impression.”

“Look the part” is Carrie Leum’s fashion philosophy. A believer in the powerful dynamic between a styled look and a woman’s self-esteem, work success, and ability to meet personal goals, Leum is president and founder of Corset Personal Styling, a national wardrobing services company.

Corset, which designed and manufactured its own private label, helps women pull their looks together for a polished, head-turning personal style. Her company sends wardrobes to clients each season and offers wearing and pairing tips to help them build a thoughtful closet. The company also specializes in dressing women with hard-to-fit silhouettes and sizes.

A 20-year public relations veteran, Leum has dressed CEOs, brand spokespeople and celebrities for appearances on Oprah, CNN and the Today Show. As an agency owner, Leum has helped countless brands -- Kohler, MillerCoors, SC Johnson Wax, and Kohl’s – stand out and tell their stories.

Leum, an on-air fashion consultant to KSTP-TV (ABC) in Minneapolis/St. Paul, is the recipient of the Innovative Business Concept Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners and has been named “Best Stylist” by Minnesota Monthly magazine. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin.
